I saw this name in a frum magazine and I had never heard it before, but I like it. Can anyone tell me if it's short for something, what it comes from and what it means?

either it would be shia'le (pet form of yehoshua) or shayala (yeshaya)

it comes from the name Yehoshua, in chassidish it's Yehoishea, add 'la and you get shea'la!!!!!!!!!!
