For one kid, you can even use something like an Evenflo pivot modular stroller...

Wanted to update you all:
Found an awesome deal on a new city select so I got that.
Next question:
Do I get an infant car seat or a convertible car seat and the bassinet?

I'm in the exact same boat! Gave away almost all my baby gear, and now I'm pregnant. I'm definitely going to get an infant car seat and snap and go for starters. That way when the baby falls asleep in the car, (or even on a walk) you don't have to wake them, you just carry them in. After about a year, when the baby outgrows the infant seat, I'll start thinking about strollers. By then I'll hopefully have found something second hand.

I would vote infant seat, bassinet is really an extra (unless u walk a lot and don’t use cars often obviously...)
