How do you eat sandwich cookies?

I feel like the most thought-provoking questions come to me while I'm eating. Smile

I know it's a sandwich cookie, but I don't eat it like a sandwich! I open it, eat the empty cookie, eat the cream, then eat the other cookie.

How do you eat your sandwich cookies?

I open the cookie, eat the cream, feed the cookie to my labradoodles. Repeat until the package is gone

I don't always do it the same every time lol chocolate ones - open, eat filling, eat the cookie that had the frosting on it first and then the other one but only for the first 1 or 2 and then the others I just eat as they are usually in a couple of bites
Vanilla - I just eat it all together
And sometimes if I'm about to eat one and little eyes are looking and it's not Shabbat (we only allow sweets on Shabbat) I'll just pop the whole thing in my mouth lol

Missing options:

A) Stick a fork into the cream and dunk it in milk.

B) A cookie? One? Take four or five and remove the cream from all. Smush it together to make a giant "marshmallow". Eat the plain cookies and then the cream. Or, eat four sets of plain cookies and then smush the cream between the two remaining cookies and eat that.

I voted for the first. Bc that's my norm. But sometimes I open it for the cream. But then occasionally when I open, I save the cream for last

Take a little bite from the top cookie, nibble at the bottom cookie to line them up, now nibble at the top cookie again so it’s all nice and even. Repeat. Alternatively, dip in milk between each bite.

We all have our idiosyncrasies.

None of the above.
I take a bite, but dont chew right away. I leave the chunk on my tounge and kind of suck on it for a few seconds so it gets a bit softish, and the cream starts oozing around, then I chew.
You should try it. Delicious.

Break entire thing in half and eat in 2 shifts

There needs to be an option for “it depends if I’m in public.” If I’m around people other than my immediate family, I’m eating it like a sandwich. If I’m alone, I’m opening it up, throwing out the cream, then eating the cookies.

I really wish they sold the plain cookies. Recommendations for the closest approximations appreciated.

Done! Clearly I should start looking for friends on the basis of what part of the cookie they like. In school I was good friends with someone who preferred the bottoms of bagels. It was shocking and amazing all in one. Too bad we live far apart now, breakfast with her was always the best.

Open the cookie and eat the plain part first and then the side with the cream, but eat it with the cookie. IMO the cream needs to be eaten with the cookie, but too much cookie as a sandwich and not enough cream, even though I would also do it for double the cream.
