How do you make chicken broccoli puffs?

Defrost puff pastry squares
Defrost chopped broccoli and add an egg, spoon of mayo, some spices and onion soup .mix. basically a very basic broccoli kugel recipe. Spread on half a puff pastry in a triangle. Then place raw chicken cutlet pieces over the broccoli. Fold puff pastry in triangle like a boureka.
Egg and bake.
On yt, sometimes ill make a mushroom sauce to pour over

1. Enough from everything for more than one meal:
Salmon salat or homemade fish croquettes (if I have time).
Meat in soja sauce
Mashed patato
Apple kugel or pineapple kugel
Salats

2.
Lasagna
Patato-leek soup
salat
Cheesecake and homemade ice cream

3.
Think rest of the meat and a nice soup

4.
Normal shabbes food

Jalapeño salmon
Tomato basil soup
French roast
Baby potatoes
Blueberry crumble

Onion squares
Pesto salmon
Penne ala vodka
Roasted veggie salad with feta
Cheesecake
Iced coffee

Gefilte fish
Chicken soup
French roast leftovers
Kugel from freezer

I don’t consider this very simple, but easy enough.

So there’s the ramen part and there’s the vegetable part. Both rly easy.
Ramen crunch: break up one package of ramen noodles and spread on a baking sheet. Add 1/4 c sesame seeds and 1/3 c slivered almonds. Toast on 400 for about 10 min.

Vegetables: 1 purple onion, sliced
8 oz sliced mushrooms
1 yellow pepper, sliced
2 c grape tomatoes,halved
Put them all into a container or ziplock bag if you don’t wanna wash a container, and add marinade.
Marinade: 3/4 c oil
1/2 c vinegar
1/3 c sugar
1/4 c soy sauce
1 tsp salt

Assembly: lettuce, shredded purple cabbage, marinated veggies, ramen crunch

Sweet and spicy salmon*
Mushroom quiche*
Blintzes*
Cheesecake*

Friday:
Same Salmon*
Baked ziti*
Roasted baby carrots
Tilapia
Chocolate ice cream

Friday Night:
Gefilte fish
Roast
Potato kugel
Roasted brocolli

Shabbos Day:
App TBD
Main TBD
Butternut squash kugel
Balsamic string beans
Hearts of Palm salad
Lemon Ices*

This was very therapeutic for me. Thank you.

Sure, it's might be your oneg to wear pyjamas at the seder. That doesn't make it appropriate.

I highly doubt any rav would pasken that just soup and kugel or just plain pizza is is proper kavod for yom tov, unless finances is an issue in which case that's a whole other story. Sorry.

maybe we are just so far apart culturally and in your circles this is a dignified yom tov meal.

We wre definitely far apart culturally because my Rabbi would never comment on the food I serve for yom tov.

Pizza is perfect shavuot food in my circles.

Do you actually ask your rabbi to pasken on your meals? Like rabbi, my family really likes steamed broccoli, is that OK for yom tov? What criteria does he use to make his decision?

The point is that meals should be special, and what you enjoy. If pizza is a special treat, great. If your family loves soup and kugel, kol hakavod. Shhhhh. My DH loves soup. If I made split pea or mushroom barley, he wouldn't make it to the kugel. And he would consider it a grander meal than a standing rib roast with a dozen sides that took hours to prepare.

Shavout night will either be pizza or quesadillas. and of course cheesecake.

Shavout lunch is grilled cheese & tomato soup. And more cheesecake (or maybe ice cream).

Shabbos dinner will be fish and mashed potatoes. And more cheesecake and/or ice cream.

Shabbos lunch will be fish tacos and mashed potatoes. And more cheesecake and/or ice cream.

Also, I’m not making the cheesecake, my amazing friend is making me one.

And yes I’ll serve some veggies/salad to pretend to be healthy.

These are super easy, no stress, simple meals. And I’m so excited I have an excuse to eat cheesecake all weekend! We have been known in my house to skip a meal altogether & just have cheesecake during shavout. Laugh LOL Very Happy Very Happy

I made my menu yesterday, with input from my kids.

tomato soup
challah
maybe some dips (chumus, matbucha, we'll see)

lasagna
cucumber salad
tomato salad
cheesecake

green soup (no idea what will be in it yet)
challah
maybe dips (same as before)

one-pot meal with ground meat and tabbouleh
salad with lettuce, tomato, red pepper
eggplant salad (not sure which yet, it was a request from DC)

corn salad
egg salad
challah

I thought about making gefilte fish (never made it before) but not sure it'll happen or which meal to put it in. And this thread made me want to add some other things as well, like broccoli, grilled cheese, cauliflower, hearts of palm, blintzes, caesar salad, potato salad...I am seriously lazy though and also short on time...
Do I get the simplest menu award?
