Trying to decide whether to purchase a mini dash waffle maker. We have a regular size one, but this looks cute and the portion sizes are better. The regular size one is a pain to clean because you are not supposed to submerge it in water etc. Also, sometimes with the regular one, when you open it sometimes half the waffle is stuck at the top and the other half at the bottom. If you have a mini one do you have the same issue?

I don't know about the mini dash, but I have a regular waffle maker, I just made sure to buy one that the trays can be taken out to be washed.
I also brush with oil before I put the batter on and it doesn't stick.
