I just bought my first sheitel and I don't know anything about how to take care of it!
How will I know when it is time for a wash?
Do I have to use a certain kind of brush or comb with it?
Should I avoid using products like hairspray?
How often will I need to restyle it??
Thanks in advance!

I had been washing it every three months but I wear it everyday. The girls have come out and it doesn't look fresh. I think I need my sheitel done once a month. But I wear it all the time.

I don't know how often to wash, but here are the brush and detangling spray I use every day- I spray and brush underside of my wig after I wear it, before I put it away.

Mine starts looking coarse and dirty after about 6 weeks- I wear it every day. It loses its shine and the hair starts to feel synthetic (even though it's not).
I haven't used any product in a while since it just makes it dirty faster.
