Wow some of you ladies are so serious! This looks like it was intended to be eye-catching, fun art. No one is putting a toilet paper cake in your bathroom. These cakes are probably cost prohibitive as well so don't worry, no one is spending hundreds of dollars to buy you a "gotcha" pizza/cake when they can buy you a 50 dollar birthday cake.
I actually enjoyed watching them get cut open, found it relaxing for some reason.
