When coming in from Fl to NY, if one gets tested when they arrive to NY, can that be used instead of a quarantine?
Also, does anyone know where to do rapid testing in Brooklyn? Can they test toddlers too or just older kids and adults?

If you've been exposed in FL, it can take up to 14 days before you test positive. That's why testing on day 1 is not enough.

From the FAQ on NY’s website:
If I have a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test, does that mean I can come out of quarantine?
No. Symptoms of COVID-19 can appear as late as 14 days after exposure. Therefore, a negative test cannot guarantee that you will not become sick. The full 14 days of quarantine are required.

Generally the answer to these questions is no. You can be incubating the disease at an early stage so there is not enough to show up on a test, but that doesn't mean you won't develop it a week later.
