Anyone here can recommend a nice reasonable hotel ( with a jacuzzi is a plus) within an hour or so of Lakewood? I'm desperate for a 24 hour break from routine and don't want to go too far... Thanks so much for your help in advance!!!

Any specific place that's nice but reasonable priced? Ocean place is out of my league. Or do u in any specific places in Atlantic City?

you can get really well priced rooms with jacuzzi's in the atlantic city area. if you going with husband keep in mind the boardwalk in the summer is basically bathing suits only. even during the wk.
we've done princeton nj, somerset nj - and we found nice parks to go, hiking trails/boating etc
we first found a hotel room with a jacuzzi in our price range that we liked, in any random city an hr from lakewood, and then go on trip advisor and google the city and you can always find things to do in the area.
