I got this from this site, don't remember who originally posted it.

Tuna patties: 4 cans tuna, about 2 T. mayo, 2 eggs, 1/4 c. matzo meal, garlic powder, 1 tsp. onion soup mix.
Make about 10-12 patties in greased pan. Bake for 20 minutes each side (or less). Can fry also.

3 cans tuna (not catfood)
3 eggs
1 onion
black pepper
jason flavored bread crumbs ...

put in food processor add eggs or breadcrumbs to get proper consistency ...

fry in olive oil

To give credit where it's due - I checked and I got the recipe from suomynona. They're easy to make and taste good!

This was YUM!
Tried it last night. And so simple
I added some fresh coriander...really nice

And I can imagine an Asian version with chopped ginger and soysauce in the combo...may try it next time.

I think I will try this for Shabbos this week. One question, can I mix this by hand or do I have to use a mixer to get a good consistency?

if you're talking about my recipe, I mix it by hand. Just mix it well so you don't find big pieces in the patties.

It's funny that this recipe is such a hit. I don't even love it that much, but I make it every other week because it's one of the only non-fleishig suppers that my husband likes.

When I mix by hand, I mix by HAND. I find my fingers to be my best cooking utensils. After a thorough wash with soap and warm water, my hands are just as clean as a mixing spoon but get the job sone much better!! It also is easier to feel when the consistency is correct when your hands are smushing around inside the food!

I sometimes mix by hand, but ALWAYS wear disposable gloves. I never trust that my hands are clean enough & I had getting food stuck in my nails.

These patties sound good. I think that's supper for tonight.
