No menu, no shopping, no cooking.
Hope to work with whatever I have at home. So exhausted, don't know where to start...

Same here, sister.
I've done zero. Zilch. Nada.
And I couldn't care less.

I haven't either. But I usually start making a shopping list on Thursday night around 9, then my husband goes shopping after night seder.

I cook Friday afternoon

I think this makes so much sense, it's the week after a huge Yom Tov of menu planning, cooking, baking etc.
I am looking forward to a simple Shabbos with no guests. I am pulling whatever I can from the freezer. I am taking shortcuts. I am tired, I went back to work and my kids are on a on-off-on schedule with school due to corona restrictions.
I'm so excited for Shabbos....buy yourself some chocolate and just relax!!!

Nope. I'm still Yom toved out. I bought chicken in case I want to make soup but that's it. I'm kind of tired of elaborate food. I'll probably roast some veggies and make some stuff from the freezer.

Like Shaynala said. We’re cooked and baked out from yomtov! This will be a very plain Shabbos.

I haven’t either but I usually don’t. Tomorrow iyH I’ll put up a chulent, make potato kugel and baked chicken, bake a 1-bowl cake and that’s it, done! I’m planning to buy challah and deli. Salad I can make on Shabbos.

So I just finished a bag of chips while reading tge rov tov memories thread.
My house is a flying zoo with a cranky teething mischievous toddler. There is laundry to hang, iron & fold. Hubby not home yet. His supper not prepared.
Shabbis? When is shabbos coming?
Hmmmm

Well I just got over covid, I’m due in three weeks, and I can’t taste or smell. I make my shabbos order at the beginning of the week so it will get delivered on time, but other than having the food in the house, I haven’t done anything. Kids and hub will have to make shabbos .. they made yt and we all survived!
But even on a good week I don’t really cook until Friday. Menu? Are you having guests?
