Which has better English department? How are crowds? Middos focus...are they basically similar yeshivos- what differentiates them. Thanks!!

Mir is a more right-wing clientele, Torah vDaas is more "Flatbushy." I would assume that TvD has stronger secular studies. TvD is probably also more popular these days (as many of the Mir families are now in Lakewood), so could potentially be a little harder to get into.
