What are some other good games.
We are getting bored of TTR and Settlers of Catan.
Looking for other ideas.
Everyone is HS and up.
Thank you

Thank you covid for family time! Got to find something good out of this...
We play (along with Catan, we own TTR but don't play it often)
-carcassones and its expansions with river tiles... (I am butchering the spelling)
- dominion (expansions too!).
- 7 wonders
- Milles Bourne

I just got for Channukah surprises... I have played them before and can't wait to teach them to my kids! Shh...
- skip bo (card game)
- phase 10 (card game)

For teenagers also try Terraforming Mars.

Skip Bo is a pretty good game. It is a little younger and more simplistic, but we (DH) like it.

Milled Bourne we have but I will check out the other ones.
Thank you for the suggestions!

-If you're kids are Harry Potter fans, then I love Harry Potter Hogwarts battle game. You don't need to have read the books, it just makes it more fun. What I like most about it is that you all work together against the villains to win.

There are different "jobs" and the special rules for those jobs are on a cards. You need to be able to read those. Though if someone translated at the beginning you that could work.

And some of the cards have specific instructions.

I'll also add Chameleon to the list (but better with at least 4 or 5 people).

My big kids also like I Dissent, but I haven't played it so don't know how it runs

But I want to add it's a cooperative game, so it's okay for someone to help the others read the cards. Nothing is written that needs to be kept secret from the other players.

Also, it IS available in other languages.

we actually have both. pandemic is easier. I would say it's more advanced then ticket to ride but simpler then forbidden island. You work cooperatively but you take turns as opposed to forbidden island where everyone is working simultaneously.

another suggestion like pandemic is firepoint. Saving a burning building.
