My friend has the name Susya. Everyone calls her Sassy. (not SAssy but Sussy.)
I think it comes from Susson? Makes sense, no?

Happens to be that my husband is a native spanish speaker and is froma spanish speaking country, and has never mentioned this, but now that you said so, you're right! it was my grandmother's name, and I'm trying to figure out if it's really from zisel or not.
