OK, ladies, let's stop now. Threads of this type are well-meant, but not allowed because they lead to hurt feelings. Imamother is not a popularity contest and we are no longer in high school. If you admire a certain poster, PM her to let her know.

Not sure I agree... Aderaba since we're no longer in high school and it's not a popularity contest, people should be able to tolerate threads like this

There were meet-ups back in the day. Who remembers them?

I like to keep my anonymity, personally.

I mean, I know some posters here IRL, from back in the day. It's kind of nice to "see" them online again. I would have no problem meeting them, since I know them anyway. I have a sister online. I meet her all the time lol. I have a couple of good friends who are members but don't really post anymore, who I gladly meet up with.

But, idk.

Maybe I would want to meet Yael. Except I wouldn't tell her my screen name.

Planned. I’ve gone to imamother meets. And other times it was because I’m always giving away things and they came to my house to pick it up. And one time me and sequoia met up just because. We went for ice cream. It was fun!

And one time, I gave tzedaka to a lady collecting on the streets and a few weeks later met her at an imamother meet up. It was a very strange experience.
