I have read the posts about good fleishig places to eat, but besides Va Benne, Renaissance cafe and cafe venezzia what are the great dairy places in Manhattan or Brooklyn?

I love the Indian places, particularly Madras Mahal, but you have to decide if you're comfortable with the supervision.

It's not fancy, but I like their food and the prices are great, and the portions are huge. Garden of Eat-In!

Garden of eat-in good food very decent prices Ave J and I think E 15th
Sunflower Cafe Right off Kings Highway and E 12th Yummy fresh and
friendly.
Cafe K on Ave K and Coney Good food, not too cheap though.

For great food, fast service, inexpensive, and clean try "Corner Cafe". No waitor service,more casual, and it's a great kid friendly place. They also do casual small Sheva brochos and parties.

They have the best sushi!! I don't know about the rest of their menu because that's the only thing I go there for. Has anybody tried their fleishig restaurant T-Fusion? I've heard mixed reviews.

sunflower for pleasant (not fancy,sometimes crowded) and really good,decent price. I am a total repeat customer
but...
if you want something incredible with manhattan atmosphere try orchidea in bp. it's out of this world but be ready to spend (ours was about 100 but we overdid it a bit)

I was reading this thread and im like someone mention orchida..and then I found it

orchidea is really cool its total manhattan ambiounce...in bp
their food is amazing and theyre presentaion is an art
I really love that place and can rant about it foreva
they're NOT cheapbut if ur going out to someplace nice its def. worth a shot
also if going for lunch they have buffet...u dont get thyre awesome presentaation and their might be a nice couple of people...but theyre food is still heaven..and the price is awesome

I'm in boro park for 8 years and somehow orchidea never came up. then about two weeks ago I went with a friend for lunch, and lemme tell you, I love that place!! definitely plan to go back there!

I was just at Orchidea last week with my mother and sister during their lunch buffet hours.
The food was great, they have large variety of fish, pasta, salads and sushi and cheese cake for dessert and you get coffee too for about 15 bucks.
The ambiance is just beautifull too.
