"Jonathan Pollard made aliyah early Tuesday morning, landing in Israel 35 years after he was arrested for passing classified information to an ally."

As per the law, he is quarantining in Jerusalem for 2 weeks.

"... they timed their arrival between medical treatments for Esther's cancer, so she can get her next one following their quarantine."

I am not sure about the idea I just read about of making him an MK.
What do you think about that

Not sure what I think about that...
Anyway, the article says he is not interested in going into politics.

I think that for some reason people think that anyone who is some kind of public figure should become an MK, without having any idea what their political opinions and abilities are.
But that video was incredible! ברוך מתיר אסורים

Especially when Bibi comes toward him and pollard motions for him to wait and first kisses the ground. Lehavdil but reminds me of when Yaakov saw Yosef for the first time in years and Yosef rushed toward him. Yaakov didn’t embrace him because he was saying shema.

No. He should under the radar if only for the political optics. Also, I would think it would be better for Esther shetichye.
I have not time to find a video. But just seeing the picture on Hamodia made me cry.

I think Bibi would have embraced him had he been able to. I'd like to think that if he knew or sensed Pollard was going to kiss the ground first he'd have waited.
