Curious what types of middos when you say the name? & what are nicknames for Shaul?

I don't have any particular associations, but I do like the name. It's on my "list", but far enough down that there's almost no chance I'll have enough boys to use it.
Shauli is the only nickname I know of.

Don't hate me. I dislike the name because it reminds me of shilshul (hebrew for diarrhea).

I don't think of middos at all when I hear that name, or any name.
Shauli is the nickname I"m most familiar with.
In general...I dislike the name. But you do you.
