Does anyone know if any of the seminaries in NY take federal money (FAFSA) for tuition? I've heard of some men's yeshivas doing that, but I haven't heard of it for local seminaries.
If the seminary isn't set up to take FAFSA (from what I've seen they need to have Title IV status to be eligible, and that can take some work to set up), is there a way to get federal or state funding anyway, or even low interest loans? Not that I want to do loans, no thank you, but I'm trying to figure out my options here...
Also, one of the programs I'm looking at ties in with a college for credits. Does that mean that we might be able to get FAFSA through the college to help with the seminary costs? Nothing on the college's site lists that as possible, but once I'm asking here for help I figured I'd ask about that as well.
Thanks

I got fafsa pell grants for my seminary in New York. It was a shana bet program and I earned a significant amount of credits there. I’m sure many other local sems accept pell grants.
