I'm due right before Purim iyh.
Do you think it's crazy to bake now and avoid the hassle? My son's upsherin is next week so I was thinking I could bake for both, but do you think it's too early to freeze cupcakes for Purim?

Sure. Just wrap you items very well in multiple layers so that there is no freezer taste. I always bake weeks in advance.

If I had a genuine deep-freeze, absolutely. Just don't ice them before freezing--do that after they thaw. Less mess that way.

Covid cannot be transmitted through food, as far as is currently known.

B'shaa tova. (I don't bake and don't have a spare freezer, so I'm worthless on your question.)

Sure you can ask! Disrespectfully too if you please!
COVID19 is transferred by food so I assume people will be fine with homemade. Purim is also on a Friday. I won't be giving out that many.

I started making hamentaschen on Chanukah. I am severely curtailing my shaloch manos this year. I don’t want to receive because I am very leery about taking things into my house ( I am extremely high risk). I will do what I have to do halachically, and I’ve written a poem to hang on my front door. I can’t believe that Purim marks a year from when this magaifa started.

Because it's on a Friday, I would imagine that most people are giving less. I also would imagine that lots of people will be part of achdus baskets so that they are not going to visit every teacher and maybe kids will pick names so that each kid doesn't end up delivering to every classmate.
Between the short day and the pandemic, everyone should cut back and give more to tzedaka.
