Someone asked me why I am bothering with this if I havent actually made any progress.
My answer: Progress to who's standards?
I have started excersizing more! Thats a big thing!
And even if I havent been eating all healthyh foods, atleast I'm man enough to admit it!
Confession: I had a bowl of dry crispix today.

Goal: I'm going to exxcersize now.

MOre later.

RivkiA, you have the right attitude. We are all petrified of the scale and what is says. But if you are making positive lifestyle changes, they will benefit you and your general health just as much as that scale moving, which you know can go up and down, almost on its own whim. Good for you! Smile

Thanks guys!
I just walked 4 miles in an hour! I walked the first 2 and then had to PUSH myself! I'm so unbeleivably proud of myself! I pushed myself an I couldn't be happier.

It sounds like you've made a lot of progress. It's not like your efforts are necessarily going to show up on the scale after only 7 days. Just stick with what you've been doing and you'll probably see big changes!!! Didn't you say that you've already dropped a couple of dress sizes (or am I mixing you up with someone else)? Losing inches isn't something to sneeze at! That's really great!

Weight doesn't come off overnight - it takes a while for the weight to come off and a lifetime to keep it off!

defy- I have gone from a tight 20 to a 16. I've lost 38 pounds.

I have been too tired tonight to move. I'm going to sleep soon. And no, I didnt really get anything done today. Iironed 3 shirts and I hung up some clothes and I cooked a few things for tomorrow. All healthy too. Salmon, parsnips, polenta...

wow! you lost 38 pounds. I like reading about your weight loss posts. there was a show where people had to walk for 500 miles some of them had a very hard time losing weight.
I think now before I eat something. 280 calories will not help me lose my stomach.

Should I revive this thread?
I know I stopped it cuz I said I was leaving, and I did, but now that I work on the computer it's so much easier to be on here.
So what do you say? Who wants to hear my musings?
