I would find a Rav to ask.
Here you will get people who say yes, people who say no and then it will deteriorate to bashing different haskafas.

I live in his neighborhood. Everyone I know eats his hechsherim. But since you don’t know me I don’t know what that’s worth

We don’t eat it. One of the things that set him apart from other hechsherim is he gives a hechsher on eateries that are open on shabbos.
So included in this is no mashgiach temidi (I am not answering if this is reliable- I am giving you information You can use to decide if this is somewhere you would eat.)

This is true but the teudah includes a provision about how they sell the establishment (similar to mechiras chometz) over shabbos. It is detailed on the written teudah. You may not find this acceptable but I did want to mention it nonetheless

It's a local UWS hechsher, trusted in the neighborhood. He gives hashgachha to non-Jewish places open on Shabbat and to non CY, if either matter to you.

We don't eat it. The actual supervision of the establishments under the hasgacha is lax.
But we're extremely scrupulous on which hashgachas we rely on. Many "heimish" hashgachas that "everyone" eats we don't trust. (We do rely on the big ones like ou, ok, starr k etc.)

This. If it’s good enough for Rabbi Marmorstein it’s good enough for my family.

What type of establishment? My husband (a kashrus pro) said that it's nuanced

interesting - I wasn’t even thinking of that, I was thinking kashrus wise.

I don’t know if that’s how kashrus works. There are rabanim who certify establishments and don’t eat there themselves - because they don’t want to rely on certain kulos that they judge “good enough” for the community the establishment is servicing, but not their own personal standards.
