My dh is sick since Thursday and just got a positive test result. I need to know which treatments are prudent for him to take now. Who can help?

Anyone also can help with shopping and meals? I have a newborn and others.

You need an oximeter to make sure his oxygen levels are okay. Also, NYU was extremely good for my dh when he had Covid, so if you need a hospital that's the one. They called me every day, he got a nice private room and they were very diligent. Hopefully yours will not need this and will have a refuah shelemah soon!

If you're in the tri-state area call Refuah Helpline right away. They made all the difference. Hopefully they can get him a spot for monoclonal antibody infusion. They can only give it the very first few days.

We just got the results and it’s day 6 of fever so probably that ship has sailed, right?

Speak to his doctor about getting the antibody treatment done - I am told there is no downside to doing this at all. Also, ask his doctor if he should be on blood thinners.

Blood thinners, very important since blood clots can happen when one has Covid.

Call his doctor to see what he thinks it's appropriate for him to take.

Tisch, they made the children's hospital into a Covid space at the time. The rooms were new, the social worker called me every day to make sure the doctor had called to update me, and they did. They also had experimental treatments, he spent 2 weeks there on oxygen and saved his life!
