This year I’m ordering food out
For 10 adults and 2 kids ages 9 and 6 not picky eaters
How much do I order
Keep in mind it’s erev Shabbos lunch

I really don’t want extras

I’m doing a pita bar
Pita
Israeli salad

Shawarma
Beef skewers
Falafel
Chicken Fingers
French fries

Chumus
Tehina

BTW- I won’t be home Shabbos so I really don’t want extras

Not more than 12 pitas with all this food.
1 container of chummus.
It's impossible for you not to have leftovers with this much variety!!!

What sizes does the takeout offer?

I would say tell them beef skewers for 6, chicken for 6, shwarma for 6, falafel for 6.
1 9x13 French fries
1 9x13 Israeli salad
1-pound container humus
1-pound container tehina
12 pitas

You will have extras but you also want people to feel there's enough food.

This is from a restaurant that I really like.
And even though I have food sensitivities I can eat certain foods from there with no problems.
They have good “clean” ingredients in certain items .
Since I’m limited in what I eat, and it’s just me and DH, I dont want leftovers, especially of the foods I shouldn’t eat.

The fries I’m making in the oven myself.

I was thinking of the following

Shawarma 3lbs (1/4lb p/p)
Beef Shishkabob skewers 15 pcs
Schnitzel. Fingers 15 pcs
Falafel balls 24 (2 p/p)
But for example I don’t eat breaded chicken or Falafel
Not sure if this translates the same as 6 servings of each

I’m not sure how big the pieces are but I think I would order more than 15 unless they are big. You want people to be able to take seconds without worrying there isn’t enough.
