Rina (my husband and I will name one of our future daughters that name anyway....we’ll probably add a more common name with it)

Menashe
Efraim
Akiva
Bentzion
Nachman
Simcha
Reuven

You can use all of those boys and girls names in chassidishe community except Elana, Adina and Rina. Maybe you like Dina and Reva instead? Elisheva and Batsheva are fine with chassidish just have nn Shevy and Bashy.

Boy: Daniel (but the American pronunciation DAN-yill, not the 3-syllable Hebrew version)

Girl: Ayala, Menucha

It's a very short list, but we only name after family members so I don't think I'll ever get to use these. but they are my favorite.

Chulda in modern Hebrew is "rat" so I would avoid that one.

I have always loved the sound of the names: Sean, Heather, Raquel and Michelle.

I would never use them because I wouldn't give any of my children an English name.

I also love the names Naomi and Netanel, which are Jewish names, but we couldn't use them for other reasons.

I was mevater to my husband when I didn’t have any names for a second name in a row. And then the next two were mine. Not because of fairness, but because I had an important family name.

I wish I could give my grandfather’s name. And also Shoshana. No shaichis to anything.

Don't read the entire thread.

But if your gonna do things the chassidish way, most take turns naming after each side and don't only do after one side only.

Such terrible middos.
