My dd is 18 months now so she will be 20-24 months in the summer. How should I dress her? My MIL bought me a bunch of outfits, but they are these trendy bubbles and I don't like that on a child her age. Any other ideas?

Short leggings or bloomers with t-shirts. I don't go for the bathing suit look on walking kids.

You could also do bubbles/ rompers that have a ruffle or skirt so it looks like a mini dress. That’s also very cute.

I find it such a hard age to dress a girl, they looks outgrown in rompers but still stupid in dresses.
I bought some knit shorts with matching sweaters, but my DD is petit enough to pull it off without it looking like pyjamas.

Short leggings and tee's are so easy.

I think dresses are adorable even on younger babies (though they are not practical for crawling age). On a toddler, they're the cutest even when not in style, especially matched with a retro sunhat.

Summer dresses. I don't get the bubble thing. Are mosquitoes not a thing where you guys live?

What's a dress different than short and a tee?

Legging material shorts and t shirts. If you want I can post links from Target.

Shorts and T-shirt’s from gap, Carter’s, old navy, target, etc.
My dd was that age last summer. I get most of my things from gap and Carter’s and usually pay around $5/item.
I had a few cute weekday dresses but hardly used them. I didn’t find them so practical

If you're a target circle member, they have 20% off girls tops, shorts, and shoes until March 13.

I agree with everyone else- carters or target legging shorts and carters/gap/h&m tshirts. Zara usually has dresses for that age for fancier occasions though I can't verify they have anything cute for this season.

Honestly, 7 month old babies that I know just wear stretchies...do you want links for that? They're kinda basic
