I have been a stay at home for years but as my kids grow up it's time for me to look for work.

I have no degree and no long term work experience. I do not test well so I never pursued the degree lane. It also was not the given years ago.

I am terrible with numbers and technology. I am creative with ideas and solutions and a very good people person. My phone is constantly ringing with people asking me for advice for this or that. I'm very visual, organized and great at organizing people's thoughts, ideas and stuff. I'm also a pretty decent writer. I don't have an artistic bone in my body and I'm not coordinated and I'm too "nice" for business and self promotion. I want a job not something I need to market myself for .

I am also very in tune with myself, honest about my flaws and always willing to learn from others.

What kind of job can I get? What degrees do I need? I'm over 40, years in a BA and masters program with loans seems unrealistic but I am willing to get a 4 yr or 2 yr degree.

I live in NY.

Thank you for your help.

Copy editing might be a good fit.
It's more than just proofreading or spell/grammar check. You'd have to give writers feedback on their work, if it makes sense, if you think more info is needed or better examples.
It's not the highest paying work though especially if you stick to frum publishing.

If you're very organized maybe you can help people get their homes in order. I once hired a person and it was a disaster because she had no clue what I wanted and was of no help. She spent all day on one closet when what I really wanted was an overall plan for the whole house.
