Today is Mothers Day. Mothers are now called Birthing Persons. So Ben Shapiro wrote "Happy Birthing Persons' Day to all the egg-producing homo sapiens of unspecified gender who made the decision to bring to term a meaningless cluster of cells"!

I’m offended on behalf of the NON-birthing persons who had their kids via surrogate!!! Or adoption!!!! Or don’t have kids but identify as birthing persons!!!!! Cancel the whole day!!!! Cancel ALLLLL the days!!!!!!

This is a very challenging day for me..... loosing a mother will do that :/
So in my lil family we say every day is mother's day.
It is the trauma talking, but one day when I am eventually not here ( after 120 yrs and if moshiach doesn't come) there is one less day that hurts and brings up tremendous pain. Let them have a hard time on Birthdays and Yartzeits and Yamim tovim it is way more than enough.

Shortly after I gave birth to my twins (grueling experience, barely survived....), my husband had a bout of constipation and dramatically (and humorously) informed me, "If only you knew what it's like to be sick!" I asked him if he wanted to find out what it's like to be dead, because those are fighting words! There are some things you don't try to one-up lol!
