A couple weeks after the 6 month mark. Started with baby oatmeal mixed with breastmilk.

We started 4 months because she was always hungry but rejecting bottles. Started with oatmeal and then veggies and fruit

I did full on Baby Led Weaning, so there was a first meal instead of first foods. She ate the same thing we ate, fish and a couple of starches. Well, she didn't really ingest anything except spices, but that was ok, the point was mostly exposure and practice at that age. The next day I gave her scrambled eggs and a banana and she did eat a little bit of that.

Started with baby rice cereal mixed with formula. And a little jarred fruit on the tip (baby peaches).
Because of concerns of arsenic in rice, I would skip the rice cereal and use baby oatmeal.

4 months. Rice cereal mixed with formula, and then mashed sweet potatoes.
Her colic literally disappeared overnight, and she started sleeping 6 hour stretches. She only woke up once in a while for a bottle, but not every night.

*I* started solids way earlier, because at the time I was an infant, medical advice was very different. (A few weeks, believe it or not!)
At the time I had my first, it was rice cereal at around 4 months. By the time of my youngest, 17 years later, pediatricians said 5-6 months. Starting later meant there wasn't as much concern about texture; we could do mashed banana or avocado or cooked squash.
It doesn't really matter what food you start with as long as it's safe. But wait a few days before introducing anything else, so as to monitor for allergies or reactions.

I give tastes at 4 months, watch them accidentally spit it all out, decide it's more trouble than it's worth, then try again at 6 months 😂

Pediatrician said to start at four months. Started with baby oatmeal and then Gerber puréed baby food. By the time they were 6 months I was giving one gerber container a day.

About 7-8 months. Depending on interest in food.
I was told 4-6 months can start but not necessary. Especially in exclusively nursing babies.
6-9 months best time to start.
After 9 months is late and can lead to issues.

Usually give avacado around 5 months and solids like eggs at 6 months.

Right. They've found that depending on the baby, 6-8 months is an ideal time to start. With my first I started at 6, with normal food, but if she had taken a couple months to get interested, then I wouldn't have worried about it.
