I have a wedding on Monday night..I want to wear a black dress (yes, black again!) Its very pretty..has a kerchief hem and a row of white pearl buttons on top. I would usually wear my silver heels but they kill my feet. I bought a pair of nude/tan color heels..(much smaller) for another dress..would they go with a black dress and white pearls? Also if I do wear nude color heels..should my clutch be nude or black?

Tan heels are ok with nude stockings. Black purse.

It's not intuitive. At first you think "Really? Tan shoes with black?" but then I've seen gorgeous outfits with tan/nude shoes and you'd never think they'd work, but they really do.
On the other hand, it's always worth it to own a pair of black dress shoes that are comfortable.
(Completely unsolicited opinion - I hate the trend for everyone to wear black at a wedding. It looks like a festive funeral.)

ty!I don't like to wear black shoes in the summer..I like them better with black stockings..I figure nude stocking look better with a lighter color shoe.

I personally don’t think tan shoes go with a black dress. I would wear a dressy summer shoe, like peep toe wedges.
