There's really not much you can do with a 7 month old for the 7 month old, but I found this website. Maybe you can find something.

I've been there many times and of course the obvious, Disney. We went with an almost year old and almost 2 year old awhile ago and we went to Universal walk, a park (so many of them and they're beautiful), Disneyland, Santa Monica pier and beach and there's a mall right there. Yeah, there are a ton of malls.
Enjoy!!

santa monica pier is nice to walk around. not very far from la (dunno what area ur gonna b in, but ~15-25 min w/o traffic). universal is close by, disney is a bit of a drive, but a 7 month old might not really appreciate mickey mouse etc yet, and so it might just be a nnoying lugging a stroller around. we did disney world at that age (because I personally love disneyland/world and we were in orlando for a conference and I just couldnt miss out), and it wasnt that bad, but if youre not into disney, rides, the whole experience, might not be worht it with a little baby...
