Are there any other schools nearby? My friends son was told not to come back to that yeshiva. He needs to be in a yeshiva and a structured environment, with a shadow. He is ASD but a bright boy who says he will do things such as suicide etc but wouldn't do it just says for attention and the yeshiva threw him out. And the shadow was Mia when this happened. Any suggestions I can let her know of what to do? Thank you

Bais Hatalmid accepts ages 13 to 21. Doresh in Florida might be an alternative for the child who was threatening self-harm.

I know a family who’s son had high functioning asd and he went to Shaarei Aruzim in Monsey and he went on to a completely mainstream beis medrash afterwards. They don’t specifically cater towards special needs but it ended up being a good fit. Maybe look into there?
