Well I just googled for you synonyms of the word Tikva in Hebrew, and I'm afraid none of the words that came up were names.

The first words that came up were:
אמונה (girl's name)
מאמין
סיכוי
דת
אופטימי

Maybe this is the way to go. What 'hope' are you wanting to name your child for? And then turn that hope into a name.

What about Menachem, tuvya, noach (he was named that because he was born at a shift in curse to bracha)

I don't know how open you are to unusual Hebrew names.
The name Yahav (יהב) is masculine and means the same as Tikva.
Specifically, the connotation is placing your hope in Hashem who will help, save or support you.
See for example Tehillim 55, 23
"השלך על ה' יהבך והוא יכלכלך ..."
I think it is beautiful, but it is certainly less common than other ideas you were given here.

Azriel and Eliezer also express what you want, I think.

Yahav is classically translated as “burden” but it’s a nice idea.

In modern Hebrew Yahav means hope or faith and it is based on the meaning in Tanach, at least according to some mefarshim.

If so, maybe you could name him "Netanel" or "Matanya", to signify that he is a gift from Hashem during this hard time.

You wanted a beautiful name to reflect optimism and resilience. How's that for reframing? B'shaa tova!
