Another classic mental health book is "The Noonday Demon" by Andrew Solomon.
Old but good.

wonder is about a special needs boy?

A boy with facial deformities who was previously homeschooled and isolated (mostly because of frequent surgeries) and is now integrating into the mainstream world. In middle school, so it's also an exploration of middle school dynamics.

If you're an introvert, try "Sorry I'm late, I didn't want to come"

Normal is not mental health related like MYSTTS. It was very real and poignant like MYSTTS. Probably a little on the heavier side but a beautiful beautiful book.

Another one I read recently that was incredible was When Breath Becomes Air (very sad but beautiful as well). And a while ago Beauty in Broken Places.

My favorite reads in the past year were memoirs:
The only girl in the world by Maude julien
Concealed by esther amini
Educated by Tara westover

Some other great reads:
What my bones know by Stephanie foo
The skeleton closet
Good morning, monster
I never promised you a rose garden

There were more but not that I can remember this minute.

I really loved when breath becomes air, its very powerful. Still searching for a book like that, maybe I will try MYSTTS. Thanks for all the recommendations!

I finished reading maybe you should talk to someone and I absolutely loved the book. It was light, entertaining and helped me take a good look inside of myself (and even inspired me to start therapy)
Any recommendations of similar style books? No novels please.

I want to get this book. Is it a blue or yellow color? I see both are available- don’t know the different. Tia
