Anyone else feel shamed to learn parenting stuff from their children that should be natural. Like compassion for example.

Our children teach us healing. It's beautiful and natural. Let your inner child receive it.

You have nothing to be ashamed of. The shame belongs to the adults who didn't give you what you needed as a child.
Often children adopt guilt and shame that doesn't belong to us at all!!! Because the adults in our lives projected so much of themselves onto us.
You can learn to drop the shame completely and move to a healthier place.
Btw, our children teach us everything about life. That is why we are given specific neshamos to raise. Their challenges and upbringing carves us into better, more solid people.

I am so happy when I see that my children have healthier emotions than me, B"H. I wish I could've given them more though.

I don't feel shame.
I feel like I will never be able to give them enough but I know I am doing my best.
