To me, the only problem with the 3 day Yom Tov is making sure I have enough clothing for the kids. But that just takes preparation when I'm shopping.
Otherwise, I really like 3 day Yom Tov.
Here it's the constant cooking, eating, laundry situation.
Though I do find this year's schedule much easier than what happens a bit frequently- RH, Sukkos on Monday, Tuesday. At least here we have Sunday and Monday.

My cleaner told me it’s a very hard month for her. She looked exhausted Sad

I met a non Jewish woman today who said- if you need help, I’ll help you, this month is so hard for Jewish women!

But the non Jews at the grocery store are very happy with all their off days. Lol

This is funny because I dont know any men in israel who want that extra day of chag. Smile
But I do know one woman who made aliyah eho said she misses the second seder because she was always more relaxed by the second one Smile

My father. Hardest part for him of aliyah. So they will do meals for americans to sort of extend the chag for them.

It's nice to have the Shabbos/Sunday/half Monday in between. But a stress to get my workload done with so few work days.

Funny!

Now someone make one for us full time working moms who are magically shopping and cooking and working at the same time. Not off for erev anything. That calendar will make your head explode.

Is today the day we cook the fish, eat the fish or throw out the leftover fish?

Omg this is both funny and terrifying to look at.

I wish I can award every single Jewish women on this planet with $1,000 to spend on a small vacation afterwards.

Hear hear! It's hard enough with a colicky baby...

The ones I spoke to are not. They work really hard on non-YT days as the store is crazy and the people demanding and then they do not get paid for days when the store is closed.
They have trouble covering their bills this month.

I hate when the yomim tovim fall in the middle of hte work week like this year (Tues/Wed mostly).

I wake up every morning trying to figure out "Is it Shabbos? Yom tov? Sunday? Work day? Work from home day? Which kids have school today? Am I late for work? Am I late for shul? Do I get to "sleep in" (which is relative)?"

I’d take anything over a 3 day Yom Tov. Of course, the most convenient is when yom Tov is shabbos. But I’d rather take this years schedule than a 3 day yom tov. Serving 6 meals and cleanup of 6 meals is way too hard for me. I need that one day break of freshening up the house. Even if it means cooking fish again. Lol.

I too love 3 day YTs. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!
Not being sarcastic at all.
I hate erev and Motzi YT so this year is not working well for me, but I love the 3 days of just sitting around, hanging out with my family and friends, eating, and not having a care in the world. (You can’t do anything about it until you make havdalah-so you can pretend it doesn’t exist).
I will take a 3 day YT over a vacation to an exotic location or to Disney anytime!!!
