How much do they charge. And how do you do about finding one in your area? If it cheaper or more expensive than having your cleaning lady do it. Which is more with it?

I've done it. They charge by the pound. You don't get to choose the detergent (scent) and everything goes through the dryer. I only sent stuff that made sense with such a system like towels, linen, pjs, underwear, socks in net bags. The items are returned to you folded in clear bags.
Having cleaning help at home means you have someone underfoot and you're more involved. But they use your preferred products and you get to give specific instructions for each item/type.
Try one and then see if it works for you.
