What about Rochel / Rachel?

(Do you know the story of Yirmiyahu during the churban, when all the Avos, Moshe Rabbeinu, then Rachel pleaded for the redemption of B'nai Yisrael?)

In her z'chus we will return to Yerushalayim.

Hmmm...it would have to be bat-tzion because dh is into dikduk and havarah...but I've never heard either one tbh...maybe...

I've met a Batzion.
Also, Shlomtzion can be shortened to Shlomtzi.

Then there is Tsivya or Tsviya - a nod to "Eretz Tzvi"

Noah is a beautiful name of one of the five daughters of Tzelafchad, who made a special request to be given a portion of E"Y, and Yerushalayim.

But why is that a peeve?
Why does it bother you so much?
It's a beautiful name and according to our inquiries may be derived from Batzion.

Hadara (vatetze mibat tzion kol hadara)

Found this on some israel tourism website

In addition to the historical names, there exist many poetic names for Jerusalem in the Bible:
Ir Ha'Emet (Zech 8:3) – City of Truth
Kiryah Ne'emanah (Is 1:25) – Faithful City
Kiriyah Aliza (Is 22:2) – Joyful City
Gai Hizayon (Is 22:1) – Valley of Vision
Ariel (Is 29:1) – Lion of God (This is also the name of a modern Israeli city.)
Kiryat Hannah David (Is 29:1) – City of David's Camp
Drushah (Is 62:12) – Desired one
Gilah (Is 65:18) – Joy
Tzur Hamishor (Jer 21:13) – The Rock of the Plain
Neveh Zedek (Jer 31:22) – Dwelling of Righteousness
Oholivah (Ezek 23:4) – My Tent is in Her
Ir Ha'Elohim (Ps 87:2) – City of G-d
And, of course, this one:

Klilat Yoffi (Lam 2:15) – Encompassing Beauty

Another vote for Ariella. A bit of trivia - R' Asher Arieli's grandfather wanted to change his last name to something related to E"Y. He chose Arieli after consulting R' Kook.
Also Geula.
Maybe Tamar for land of milk and honey.

Can't move to E"Y but love and miss it dearly, and esp in light of recent events, am feeling my connection very strongly. (Specifically a few months ago when there was all the rockets and so many not Jewish people in the celebrity and political world were openly condemning Israel and defending Palestinians, etc.) All my kids are named with names that had deep meaning to us and our spiritual journey. (Not to sound dramatic lol...normal yeshivishe background, but love beautiful names)
