A year or so ago I read on imamother that you’re not supposed to wear navy outfits with navy tights and navy shoes. So….what do you wear with a navy outfit in the winter??

On the contrary, navy dress with navy tights thats even a drop off color will look baaad

I don't remember the last time I saw a women wearing navy tights.

Maybe grey or burgundy ?
I saw an interesting fashion review that stated that in order to don’t clash this kind of look with non coordinated tights your best bet is high boots. Think brown or beige.

Yeah I totally hear that. I usually would wear navy skirts with my tall navy boots but apparently that’s not considered acceptable.

Wear the navy boots and skirt with gray tights.

I know that beige tights are generally for summer, but is it really such a faux pas to wear them if you don't have the right opaque color?

For instance, sometimes I wear black Crocs shoes that are off black so I don't want to wear black hose with them. Thus I wear beige even though some may look at me askance (then again they will probably do that because of my Crocs shoes. But, guess what? I don't really care! I need to do what works for me!!!!!)

Guess I will be anon because how many people do you actually know who wear crocs shoes? Like

With these high boots I don’t even think the tights show! Is that still considered “ok” if it’s navy skirt on navy boots without a color break in the middle?
