The organizers are based in Lakewood.

Why is this even necessary? There's literally a million wonderful communities in "eretz yisroel". If people are moving to Israel, why not take the opportunity to look at yiddishkeit outside your NJ cul-de-sac?

I think you all will have to reach out to the # on the flyer
I can say somethings what I have heard, I take no responsibility for this.
There different ideas from people who are interested in moving to e"y.
There are lots of American families thriving in e"y now very nicly.
that said and done, here are a few points I heard they are trying to address.
1) many people have a very hard time changing there culture uprooting themselves from America and going to a totally different place.
2) even though American people are thriving in e"y, there is a element at least by a lot of people that the American parents and there children have some form of disconnect, and, many people dont like that.
3) its called Lakewood because that were the group is originating from, it will include all chareidy communities.

Don’t know what to believe but someone took out an ad a few weeks that the ads about community in Israel are not altruistic and not to trust them and to do research.
I don’t recall correctly but something about the organizers having certain beliefs or haskafa
I don’t fully remember.
Don’t know what is true and what isn’t. And maybe I’m remembering wrong.

Where did you see this flyer please? Is it posted in shuls in Lakewood? Circulating online?
Where will the proposed community be in EY?
What type of infrastructure will the community have (its own schools, shuls, stores, housing)?
It is an interesting post, but we need more information to attach it to reality.

Oh yes I saw those too. I don’t know what it’s about either but it sounds like a group is trying to pull a Lakewood crowd to some alternate community in Israel. The whole thing is odd.

OK, sounds intense and confusing. I think it's best we stop discussing this here then, so we don't accidentally sabotage a potentially good thing. We don't have enough information either way. Op, thanks for sharing, but if you dont have solid information about the community and its organizers, best not to post, especially if there are ads condemning it. Just too much potentially harmful information shared with a very confused audience.

I dont understand the major talk here.
There is and add that is circulating, and it might be of interest to a lot of people.
If it was to my interest I would say thank you, and use it to do my home work (and also ask if any one here has more info).
This group is working already for a while on forming, there were different ideas, which was discussed a few months ago, there were meetings, many people were interested, those were the adds circulating. there is a group of קנאים, that bash every thing having to do with Israel, they came out against this group.
please if any one is interested do your home work.
