And my kids are still sick! They tested negative for strep so I’m assuming they have the flu. Their fevers are down BH but they’re still throwing up. All urgent cares are booked and I don’t have the heart to make them wait. No one is getting back to me from the dr office. I know it’s most probably the flu and it’s too late for tamiflu. Is it normal for children to vomit from the flu? Is it normal that it’s been a week? I just tried the dr again so hopefully they’ll call me back.

Probably either Covid or Flu. Hopefully your doctor calls you back. If either child becomes listless or dehydrated, take her to the ER.

I know many people who tested positive for the flu this week and one of their symptoms is vomiting. Seems to be the type of strain this season.
