so we haven't gone out, just us, for the longest time. and dh came up with the idea for us to go tonite.

tell me where to go for a nice meal. preferably bp, flatbush. not in the mood for manhattan - hate that place.

we usually like to go to glatt a la carte, but this time we want to try something else.

island grill?

any other suggestions?

tia

wow, I cannot believe I am all out of ideas! I guess I did not get out in a loooong time, lol!
we usually got to le marais in manhattan, dh loves it. or abigails.
I heard not such amazing reviews of t fusion, but I usually do not listen to them until I actually try a place myself, and get my own opinion.

Well, for those prices, they should give you a massage while you wait for the check, never mind putting a napkin on your lap! shock

Up to $25 for an appetizer? How do ppl justify spending so much on food?

I'll stick to Cafe Renaissance! LOL Besides, Dh doesn't eat meat, so I have to wait to go out with my friends so I can have a good steak/chinese!

rimonim? is that where al dente used to be?

somehow, dh doesn't like to go to restaurants in that area cuz it's too close to work. (can't say I blame him). it feels too 'regular'. kwim?

like we never went to essex cuz it was too close to his office. lol. (it used to be a favorite of his years back, before he started working in the area)

but maybe we will try this place. we'll see.

Essex moved to where the big traif diner on Avenue M between E19th And Ocean Avenue (caravelle?) used to be.

Is Rimonim a restaurant? We drove by the other day (It is on CIA right off avenue L, where Kosher Discount Supermarket used to be). It is covered by scaffolding and construction fences and it wasn't clear what it was. Is it opened yet? It did not look like it last week.
