I am wondering if someone can direct me on getting donations or sponsorship for a Hebrew school for a child who attends public school. The girl is an amazing sweet 4th grader who has a very tough home life I.e. her parents are willing to send but not do any of the footwork. There is a weekly hebrew school/arts program that I think would benefit her greatly. Are there organizations that cover this? I was willing to cover a big chunk of it but the program is close to $1800. The program has been maxed out in terms of financial aid.

I think that's what Nechamas Yisrael does. Also check with Oorah. And is there a local Rabbi or even Federation that might have tzedaka funds to help cover the costs?

I was incorrect. Since she missed most of the program (started in Sep) it is now $900. I looked at OOrah, it seems it is for Jewish private schools where this is an after school program.
