Planning to make a toy closet.... so witch containers would recommend the clear container with lids is the typical... the other is a weave basket without a lid I saw a ready made toy closet looks very organized what are the pros and cons of both??

Use clear so the contents are immediately apparent to children who don't read. Smooth plastic is easy to clean; woven baskets not so much. The main plus of woven baskets is that they're not plastic and thus possibly more "sustainable"--but not if they're woven of synthetic materials. Solid plastic is also waterproof, leakproof and vermin-proof.
