What about kol Torah? Anyone know how it works there about kids calling home?
To all seasoned mommies that send kids to camp…. I’m about to send my first bezH - do I want him to call me or better not ?!?

in Ruach Chaim they are allowed to call home whenever they want starting from day 3
I think it’s a personality.
One son wanted to call home and shmooze every single day. And he needed that.
Another son called Friday for one second.
I don’t think I’d restrict how much a kid wants to call. (Unless overly homesick snd camp thinks it would help. But would also make sure nothing else going on)

Does Ruach Hakayitz/Toras Emes have visiting day?
Is there an unofficial visiting day that all the boys get visitors anyways?

Best is if they don't call home the first few days. Unless it's an older kid that's used to it.
