Russia suddenly decided to be honest.

The old life will never be.
The country has not yet fully realized what new world we are entering. What sacrifices we still have to make for this new world.
It is necessary for the whole country, for all the people, it is necessary to understand that [these things are] already in the past peaceful life: treadmills, deliveries from stores, carsharing and recreation in parks.
Someone will lose their job, someone will lose their business, someone will lose the life of their relatives.
Everyone must realize that ahead is mobilization and a global war for survival, for the destruction of all our enemies.

Our national ideology is war. And the only task of our government is to explain and bring to the entire Russian people this heroic image of our future. Our future - where we do not choose cottage cheese in the store when our soldiers die in worn-out berets, but we all put on these same berets.

I thought it wasn’t a war but a “special operation.”

It’s just insane. For 50 days any Russians who dared to protest, even with something like a Bible verse (Blessed are the peacemakers), were arrested. Pregnant women included. The word “war” was forbidden. And now two MPs are saying ON NATIONAL TV “our ideology is war.” And nobody minds.
