I don't always have time to pop in on Fridays, but today I did.
Please share how you have time to be on here, and where your Shabbos prep is up to.
Ready set go!

I'm in the bathroom LOL

I just need to take the last thing out of the oven. I only worked until 12 today so had 4 1/2 hours to finish shabbos prep (I never save everything for Friday)

If you mean besides for the kitchen I'm far from done. But I should be done in time today. It's a long Friday

Going away this Shabbos so just chilling all day Smile Even when we’re home though, we don’t cook a lot at all. Fridays are rarely rushed.

I don’t work on Fridays (yay!) and everyone in my home does something for Shabbos, whether it be cooking, cleaning, shopping, etc. I don’t do everything.

I have a chunk of go-go-go time on Friday afternoon but I'm pretty sure I can't sustain that all day.

I am still nursing an older baby so that's my most 'guilt-free' Imamother time.

I don't work on Fridays, my kids get home around 2:30 on Friday and I aim to be as done as possible by the time they get home. I usually end up with extra time

I have a migraine for the last 3 days. Shabbos was bare minimum. Laying down and hoping it will go away.

The only thing I do on Fridays is make cholent and ferfel. Everything else is done beforehand as well as table set and laundry.... it’s the most chilled day of the week.

Shabbos cooking gets done on Thursday. Cleaning lady Friday morning. It’s a loooong day in which I’m mostly entertaining the kids and trying to keep the house clean.

I cook for a bunch of hours between 12-4
And then I’m done. I do all my cooking and kitchen cleanup for shabbos during that time.
I don’t make challah and cake in the same week, I rotate taking from the freezer.

Maybe I don’t cook as much or I’m just fast.
I have time for breaks during my cooking hours. It’s not usually rushed.
