Im in NY. Looking to go away from sunday to thursday next week. Any suggestions? A couple with no kids. We like nature. Minyan a must, kosher food is a bonus. Ive been to florida many times. Looking for a change.

Do you have a budget for tickets? Only cheap flights I found next week were to Florida...or places without much to see/do.
Northern states are still pretty cold.
Maybe Phoenix- grand canyon or LA?

Denver, San Diego, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver, Palm Springs, Phoenix, Charleston - tickets may be exorbitant, so a lot may depend on where you can find reasonable flights

Two ideas:
1) Driving tour of the Great Lakes. There's a city with a minyan every several hours along the way, except for the UP of Michigan.
Places to see along the way:
- Letchworth SP / Finger Lakes
- Niagara Falls
- Allegheny SP
- Cuyahoga Valley NP
- UP of Michigan waterfalls
- Plenty more
2) Appalachian Mountain driving tour via Skyline Drive / Blue Ridge Parkway. Start in Shenandoah NP near Washington DC and end at the Smoky Mountains. Minyanim can be found near both ends, and with little detours along the way.
