Use your regular recipe and after about 6-8 hours, remove the meat and shred.

I leave it overnight, shred it in the morning, and then put it back in (sometimes adding more sauce)

I slice an onion put half the onions on the bottom of the crockpot, add meat (usually 2nd cut brisket) put the rest of the onions, add a jar of any bbq sauce, some frozen garlic cubes and cook for 6-8 hours.
Not sure if duck sauce would work since it’s very sugary and sugar tends to burn but maybe if u add something with the duck sauce.

We like a recipe that was once in ami whisk- slices of onion and garlic, equal parts (recipe says a cup) of bbq sauce, maple syrup and water.
