Can anyone recommend one? Or can we start one here? I don’t have cleaning help at the moment bec it’s impossible to find. I grew up in a very not put together home. Like cluttered, would get a basic clean once a week. Didn’t smell bad… but didn’t smell.. good. I want to be different but have no clue how. I need extremely detailed directions. Like don’t tell me clean the toilet. I need to know exactly what supplies/cleaners to use and how to do it. If u can’t relate to this lack of knowledge please don’t judge. Im trying to learn. Thank you!!

Would an app work.
I’ve looked at something called Sweepy. It creates a schedule of what to clean and how. Down to light switches and baseboards.
That might be helpful.

I found her website extremely disorganized and overwhelming tbh. I need something more simple. Like:
Bathroom: take such and such cleaner spray all over the tub. Take such and such cloth/paper towel and wipe down. Rinse with warm water. Or whatever. I don’t even get the concept of using rags. Like u use one rag to wipe down the toilet? Aren’t u just wiping dirt all over ?

Following.
I'm married a lot of years but I never learned how to clean properly and it doesn't come naturally to me. I once said to my MIL, I wish there was a course on how to clean because I can't seem to do it properly and if I was taught I could just follow the directions.
My MIL said I don't think you don't know how, I think you don't care enough. Mind you she said this while staying in my home for weeks.
I have a cleaning lady twice a week but I really do need to learn this skill.

Check out Dana White’s books and YouTube videos, a slob comes clean. She’s very clear and simple.
Also check out the secret slob website and YouTube channel, she’s breaks down fly lady to be practical and understandable and has printables for exactly what to do in each room.
Also for fun check out Diane in Denmark on YouTube

Bathroom - in detail
1. Dust toilet and outside walls of bathtub onto the floor (otherwise when you clean hairs & dirt will be annoying)
2. Then sweep very well.
3. Use large bucket, add Mr. Clean, maybe 1/4 cup and hot water, 11/2 cups (not sure I just pour)
4. Clean all surfaces of toilet with a sponge or rag, that is dipped into the Mr. Clean.
5. Pour some of Mr. Clean mixture into the toilet - use the toilet brush to clean all around and then top edges.
6. Clean the floor around & behind the toilet. Dry toilet and floor with dry smatta.
7. Clean counter with Mr. Clean or is granite (special material), use dish soap or soft scrub. Clean faucets, inside of sink and top edges - sink can get strong cleaner, like Mr. Clean.
8. Bathtub inside with comet or soft scrub if not ceramic, sides and floor
9. Clean relevant walls and grout
10. Wipe all dry with rag
11. Clean floor with sponge on hands and knees with Mr. clean, dry with rag
12. sweep again.

This is very helpful.
Do you clean toilet first or sink? I do the sink first because otherwise I feel I'd need to change my cleaning gloves (I use disposable). Do you throw out the shmatas or wash? I use paper towels because again, I figure it's more sanitary, but I end up using a lot ($).
